This patch adds a test to test if single stream using
libcamera's gstreamer element works.

Could you elaborate the commit message ?
What is the gstreamer pipeline used for testing ?
As far as I can tell, it looks like you are doing something similar to
gst-launch libcamerasrc ! videoconvert ! fakesink

Why do you need a convert before the sink as you are not doing anything
with the buffer ?
This might be useful information.

gstreamer pipeline is being used to test the gstreamer element in libcamera.

As far as I can tell, it looks like you are doing something similar to

To check if the camera generated legible data.

Yes, I will eventually do this, next in line is test for multistream using
gstreamer.
