I'm happy to add it to my series if you wish. It'd be nice to get better HMAX limits first though so the TODO can be dropped out of the commit message. I was hoping to get V3 out today, but having just noticed that IMX585 has different SHR0 limits, it may take longer. > > Dave > > > > Thanks, > Jai > > > > Signed-off-by: Jai Luthra <jai.luthra@ideasonboard.com> > > > --- > > > Jai Luthra (2): > > > libcamera: camera_sensor: Add Sony IMX676 sensor properties and helper > > > ipa: rpi: cam-helper: Support IMX676 through IMX678 helper > > > > > > src/ipa/libipa/camera_sensor_helper.cpp | 12 ++++++++++++ > > > src/ipa/rpi/cam_helper/cam_helper_imx678.cpp | 1 + > > > src/libcamera/sensor/camera_sensor_properties.cpp | 10 ++++++++++ > > > 3 files changed, 23 insertions(+) > > > --- > > > base-commit: a92285e9c8f8d5aba24c6f72f49efc73074002e1 > > > change-id: 20261014-mainline-imx676-b7e778cf6c0f > > > > > > Best regards, > > > -- > > > Jai Luthra <jai.luthra@ideasonboard.com> > > >
This series adds support for Sony IMX676, which is a diagonal 10.04 mm (Type 1/1.6) CMOS active pixel type solid-state image sensor with a square pixel array and 12.63 M effective pixels. This is another Starvis 2 sensor, with a very similar feature set to other supported sensors from the same family (IMX678, IMX662). PATCH 1 adds basic camera sensor properties and a gain model for libipa. PATCH 2 reuses the IMX678 RPi camera sensor helper for IMX676. This series does not yet add sensor tuning files for any platform, but it should at least unblock development using local JSON files. This sensor can be supported in mainline linux using the common Starvis 2 driver: https://lore.kernel.org/all/20261013-media-starvis2-v2-0-3670722d250a@raspberrypi.com/ A branch adding support for IMX676 on top of Dave's work is available here: https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/linux-media/users/jluthra/-/commits/rpi/7.3/imx676 I plan to post my patch for review on linux-media@ once the common driver is close to being merged.
