Hi Tomi I don't think you should need a custom built kernel, but perhaps you just need an up to date one? Either flash a new SD card with the new Bullseye that we released on 28/1 (that's the one the RPi Imager tool should pick), or maybe "sudo apt update" and "sudo apt dist-upgrade" will work.
